31 Day Blog Challenge: Introduction

31 DAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE DAY 1:  INTRODUCTION
The person who designed the questions of this blogging challenge has certainly done an appreciable job but there’s one thing lacking in his work. He left ambiguity in the topic no. 1.
Introduction – about whom? The challenge? Or myself? Well, if it’s about this challenge, look for my yesterday’s post.. if it’s about me.. let me tell u a story!

Manpreet Kaur
Once upon a time there was a girl with pink bubbly cheeks and deep brown eyes. Being the only child of her parents, she was pampered and spoiled. When she went to school, she started learning but the only thing she learned the best was ‘dreaming’.
But dreaming only was not what she did. She planned to accomplish those dreams too. She had aspired to become a gynecologist, best business woman of the world, veterinary doctor, actor, dancer, singer, and police officer. And she wanted to get into every profession that fascinated her.
But the only thing she never wanted to be was an ‘engineer’.  God was listening to all this silently for 16 years. God had seen what the girl had dreamt and wanted. Then God said, “Let me show you my magic, child."
And hence she got into engineering. She got enrolled into bachelors in Technology course at a not so reputed college in India and was supposed to major in Information Technology. But her real passion wasn’t yet discovered or was it?
Maybe while aspiring to achieve so much, she ignored what fascinated her the most. She ignored her love. She ignored her passion. She ignored her life.
All she was doing was what all humans do these days – running for money. So, a man saw her LinkedIn profile and contacted her. He asked her to manage a blog for him related to medicine. She agreed and thus started her journey of discovery where she discovered what she really loved, what she really wanted  - WRITING
But that wasn’t enough. She knew she wanted to be a writer.. that’s what she’s meant for but to spend a lot of time on her book she needed resources. She needed money. At that time, everyone on internet was talking of making money from blogging and she thought, “why not me? “. And hence she began her chase to earn money through her blog instead of doing what she did before –‘writing’.
But soon she realized that was not working. Why? For she was cheating her passion. She was preferring money over writing. So, she came up with a project named Finix Post to pay respect to her love for writing and provide a useful repository of educative and informative content to the world. That was her way of saying sorry to her love ‘writing’.
Finix Post
Now, she blogs consistently on Finix Post and still works on her personal blog PerCepTion which at a time became her tool for making money (it’s not now). She writes because she loves writing.
For money, she is going to try to get placed in a good company by the end of this year. Wish her luck!
END OF THE STORY
Did you like the story? Well, that’s what I am. That’s what I have to say about myself. Hope you liked it.

P.S. The story was much better when I wrote it last time but internet swallowed it. But this time it will stay… FOREVER (unless google decides to close blogger :P )
